Architectural Review Process

Architectural Review Process

Are you thinking or planning to make any exterior changes to your home?  Are you thinking about adding a pool, fence or landscaping?  Before you make these kinds of changes you must go through the Architectural Review Committee.  The Architectural Review Committee makes sure that the neighborhood remains a special place for all residents.  Exterior changes include, but are not limited to: house additions, exterior modifications, accessory building(s), pools, spas, patio, fencing or walls, color changes, and landscaping.  More information on specifics of changes and standards in FoxCreek can be found in the FoxCreek Design Standards.

Here are the steps of the Architectural Review Process:

1. Review FoxCreek’s Design Standards.  These standards were provided to all homeowners prior to closing.  Please read the standards and application requirements carefully before submitting your application.  For any questions regarding FoxCreek’s Standards, please contact Doug Greene at Design Management (804)644-6303.

2. Complete the Home/Property Improvement Application.  The application can be found in the back of the FoxCreek Design Standards, at the bottom of this page, or can be obtained by calling Stellar Community Management, LLC at (804) 273-1333.

3. Return application to Stellar Community Management, LLC.  To return the application send it to this address:
Stellar Community Management, LLC
Attn: Tricia Carroll
5396 Twin Hickory Road
Glen Allen, VA 23059
The committee will review your application and perform any site inspections outlined in the association documents.  You will be contacted if the Architectural Review Committee has questions or if there are problems with your request.  Please allow 30 days for your application to be reviewed. Note – the Architectural Review Committee enforces community guidelines, but it is up to you to make sure you meet local permit requirements.

4. Approval or Rejection.  You will be notified of approval or rejection of your request.
